If you told younger us that ELLES would one day be a psychology service, we’d probably have said.. “Hang on.. isn’t it going to be a dance school… or a bakery… or doggy day care?” 🩰🍰🐾The list is charming, chaotic, and kind of endless. As who didn’t dream up ideas (or maybe more like dance routines or those performances we forced our parents to witness?!) with their siblings to somehow take over the world!
Truth is, ELLES has worn many hats over the years but one thing that’s never changed and stayed consistent throughout all those ideas is us: two sisters building something together. This was always the end goal. Even before we knew what it would look like.💛
The name ELLES is literally us – Emma & Lauren – our initials and our energy. Emotionally, spiritually, and physically, this is our shared passion. It holds all the dreaming, doubting, planning, and passion we’ve shared over the years.
After a decade of working individually in our own fields (Emma a little longer – older sister perks 😉), we realised we could do more together. We finally took the leap, ELLES Psychology was born nearly three years ago from that little belief, and we haven’t looked back.
At ELLES Psychology, we believe in a both/and approach.
✨ We believe you can be both strong and gentle.
✨ That flexibility can exist alongside healthy boundaries.
✨ That professional support should be effective and enjoyable.
Our Mission | Our Values | Our Vision
To bring meaningful psychological support to everyday spaces – homes, schools, workplaces, and beyond – using approaches that are evidence-based, person-centred, and always rooted in kindness, ethics, and collaboration. To redefine what psychological services look and feel like.
To move beyond the clinical, and into the everyday.
To create a world where wellbeing support feels empowering, inclusive, and even – dare we say – enjoyable.
We don’t just advise, we listen. We don’t just deliver services, we build relationships.
And we do it all with the aim of helping people become more self-sufficient, sustainable, and confident in their own environments.
We’re not here to preach. We’re here to collaborate, learn, listen (without judgment), and grow together.
This work means everything to us. And as we look ahead to what’s next, we hope you’ll come with us; to trust us, grow with us, and maybe even see a little of your own journey in ours. We hope you’ll be part of it 💫
Because honestly? Little Emma and Lauren would be pretty proud of how far we’ve come.
