đź‘‹Meet Lauren, our Co-Director and Business Manager here at ELLES Psychologyđź’›, and she is proud to be one half of the sister team behind it all. Lauren oversees the operational heart of ELLES Psychology, bringing strategy, warmth, and a neurodiverse-informed lens to everything the organisation does.
Lauren brings not just professional experience to ELLES, but lived experience too. Lauren discovered she was Autistic (ASD) in her early 20s, after years of trying to make sense of the world around her without knowing the full story. That journey – complex, twisty, and often isolating, is what drives her passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals as they move beyond school and into the working world.
Lauren has a deeply personal understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals – particularly after they leave the structure of education and begin carving their own path into adulthood, therefore she brings a unique blend of lived experience, empathy, and vision to her work.
Through ELLES, Lauren wants to offer the kind of guidance and space she once needed, not just for individuals, but for employers too. Because real inclusion means meeting in the middle, with understanding, flexibility, and mutual support. Through both one-to-one support and organisational guidance, Lauren works to bridge the gap that too often leaves neurodiverse adults feeling unseen and unsupported.
Lauren approaches this mission with her personal mantra: “Helping one starfish at a time.” Because while the task is vast, every individual that is helped matters deeply. It may not change the whole ocean but it changes everything for that one.
