A structured, yet warm and conversational, meeting led by an EP from ELLES Psychology. Involving key stakeholders – parents/carers, and sometimes teachers, and/or the child.
Though, it’s more than just a nice chat.
Our EP is using their professional knowledge and experience to structure a conversation, ask questions to elicit key information, and plan strategies and next steps collaboratively.
What’s involved?
Around a 45 minute meeting – virtually or in person (depending on location).
This meeting is EP-led where you will have opportunities to ask questions, bring information, and gather bespoke guidance for your child and situation.
Other professionals, e.g., teacher, SENDCo, etc. are welcome to join if you wish.
Your child is also able to participate & share their views if you/they wish.
After, you will receive a record of the consultation usually within 48 hours.
Why?
If you’re not sure where to begin or how to go about this system, it’s a great place to start!
We have designed a record that is clear and specifically supports an EHCNA/EHCNA request.
The record can be used as formal evidence when requesting an EHCNA.
It’s bespoke to you, your child, and your situation.
It’s quicker (& cheaper!) than a full EP Assessment.
It follows best practices – holistic, transparent, collaborative, and remains child/parent centred.
So, why ELLES Psychology?
We’re person-centred and values-based.
Empowering you to feel heard and involved.
We’ve created a record that’s efficient, insightful, and actionable; supporting solid EHCNA/EHCP submissions and follow-through.
There’s a serious shortage of EPs, leading to long waiting lists. We offer high-quality & compassionate support even amid system-wide strains.
Dr Emma (our EP) brings strength-based, relational, neurodiversity-affirming approaches making psychology feel hopeful and helpful.
Our EHCNA consultations:turning caring conversations into meaningful EHCNA/EHCP support.
